Overnight Oats

Overnight oats with whole grain cereal, fresh bluberries and coconut milk served with a spoon on wooden table. Healthy dessert for breakfast

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for overnight oats with blueberries:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of your choice (such as almond milk, soy milk, or dairy milk)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed)

Instructions:

  1. In a mason jar or airtight container, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  2. Gently fold in the blueberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  3. Seal the jar or container tightly and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4-6 hours, to allow the oats to soften and the flavors to meld together.
  4. Before serving, give the oats a good stir to combine everything once again.
  5. Enjoy your delicious and nutritious overnight oats with blueberries straight from the fridge, or add additional toppings such as more fresh fruit, nuts, or seeds if desired.

Feel free to adjust the sweetness and consistency of the oats to your preference by adding more or less honey, milk, or yogurt. Enjoy your nutritious and convenient breakfast!
